In Reply to: RE: Keysight/Agilent U1241B - amp output noise measurement posted by 91derlust on August 27, 2015 at 00:27:24
The brochure on the Agilent website clearly states that the U1240 series MMs can measure the range DCV/ACV: 0.1 mV to 1000 V.
So, I take it that the U1241B should read from 0.1 mV, but perhaps not with True RMS accuracy. I have emailed Agilent - let's see what they say.
Otherwise, seems to be a nice device.
Cheers,

FWIW I use a Agilent to measure noise on my SET, it does work.
I have the U1272A, I'm not sure of all the differences between the two, though I did quickly glance at the specs, I can't see why yours wouldn't work the same.

Thanks Garg0yle - that is good to hear. I have contacted Keysight and expect a response early next week. Let's see what they come back with.
Once I get this sorted, I will need to think about a basic testing set-up and will seek advice here.
