I've taken the idea of balance to the extreme in my PPP amps. Four KT-120 tubes/output, triode connected, run as a LTP (long tailed pair) with a single active current source tail impedance. No cathode bypass cap. With 535V p/k and 75mA/tube bias they pump out a whopping 38W/ch. But that's 38W of pure Class A triode power.

I'm with Caucasian Blackplate on this. I'd be very interested if you cared to share how you pulled of the CCSs on steroids. I'd love to use them in power stages, but so far been limited to driver stages, due to power limitations.

That's a crap ton of current to sink through a CCS. I am very interested in how you pulled it off (if you're willing to share). In either case, that's quite an achievement!
