Buy a few of the well regarded electrolytic caps available and give them a shot. If you want to use films, go for it, but you'll need to budget the space for them.
I strongly advise against bypassing coupling caps or cathode bypass caps.

CB,
No one cap is good enough to do ALL the frequency ranges inherent in the recorded music.
It takes skill and stick-to-it-ness to learn the values needed and the types that sound the best. It also takes money. MY all-film cathode bypass caps sound best with about SIX added film caps across them, very intelligently selected by ear as to brands and values.
Are you going to RMAF Oct 2-4th this year? Please look me up and you will be able to HEAR what I am talking about. Lets meet and listen together !!
Jeff
I don't think it takes money, I think you're just allowing compulsive behavior to take over.
Hi Jeff,
You have posted this plenty of times before - you are not answering my question. Please, can you stay on topic?
Regards,
91.
