Just Memorial Day weekend's build progress...more to go.
Uses a Dynaco ST-70 ( PA-060 ) power transformer that is 52 Ohms, rather than the usual 82 Ohms in DCR. Middle picture shows primary boost wiring, using both of the 6.3 VAC filament windings for the typical EL-34s that a ST-70 powers.

What prompted the use of 45 finals?
So I can sell it very easily on eBay, to be honest.

If you're going to sell it, you can't show it off here.
Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum, et cetera, et cetera...
Memo bis punitor delicatum! It's all there, black and white,
clear as crystal! Blah, blah, and so on and so forth ...
Hopefully the lower DCR isn't from a short inside the transformer...
I love your positive mental attitude - refreshing !!!
Its a fully tested power transformer I have used, elsewheres, and it works fine under load. Over the years, Dynaco had various suppliers of magnetics.
This amp gets an entire power supply made of quality film caps, as are the Rk caps. I will post photos as I progress some.
