AKA Shrink Wrap
Works like a charm - usually shrinks up to 50% and now comes in many colours...

Another answer to the insulation problem is nail polish, from a local store. Get red, white, black, and (possibly) clear. The stuff sets up pretty fast and is easier than cyanoacrylate to deal with, when it gets somewhere it should not be.
Both nail polish and the remover are FLAMMABLE; acetone or similar, volatile, solvents are present. So, no flames in the work area, when they are in use. Close the containers tightly, after finishing the job.

Thank you both. I thought about the shrink-wrap, which I have, and will try nail polish first to see if that works.
