What is confusing, one minute you say you can hear your rectifiers, now you can't because of your awesome layout?
Um, not sure what you are trying to say. Having no hum In an amplifier build has nothing to do with the sound emanating/heard out of the speakers from {different} directly heated rectifiers.

Even with lower sensitivity speakers (compared to Khorns), I had to employ ultrasonic heating at the outputs to eliminate audible hum. You must be living right!
