This project was a year or more in waiting. I cant wait for them to be complete but it's gonna be a while yet. My good friend Danlaudionut drew up the schematic and I was working with another good friend Kevin kennedy on the layout and other thoughts. I just got done installing most of the hardware. Only things left are the power sockets and there are a lot of them on the power supply chassis as one power supply is feeding two monoblocks. There is also a power supply chassis just for the filament supply. Each amp chassis will have three power sockets with separate umbilical cords. If nothing else and it doesn't work out I wasted a lot of time having fun and having fun is what it's all about. If we get good music while having fun then that's a bonus.
The chassis is from Ebay. Jon Yaeger sold them to me a few years back and I am finally able to use them. Only issue I have with them is that they are not deep. About 2 inches. Hard fitting the larger parts but I'll make it work, some how!
As you can see from the pictures not much was done to the underneath. It will be a real slow process as I am trying my best not rush and make mistakes. I already made a few but it will be hard to tell, if at all.

Oddly enough I did like the 2 inch deep ones until a good friend built me these amps from a few chassis made in China. They didn't have as big of a footprint but they were high where you could stuff a small house and your clothes in, sorta speak. I like them a great deal and they have more room than you would figure to put things underneath.
The talent (for myself) involves the balance of aesthetics and form following function. I do not hold with some that the wire should have the shortest path, rather the wire should lay with least magnetic or grounding interference. I eschew capacitors on top to be seen... I do NOT use electrolytics whatsoever in my new builds. The iron to my eyes is wonderful to see... if one uses double C core such as Lundahl {good stuff} then the boxes they sell would be necessary. Frame type transformers MUST be covered if on top. The latest build is an 801 with 6C6 driver 83 mercury vapor rectifier. On deck for build is a plate choke 5842 driving 45 half wave 816 mercury vapors... powder coated chassis is a must. I have some Baldwin 3" chassis's that someday will build a no holds barred power house.

Looks like a good start. Lots of commercial tube amps have a chassis that's 2" deep or less. Shouldn't be a problem unless you have large open frame transformers or chokes. Keep us posted!
