Nope I haven't tried 310a's in my amp. They need a 10v filament and I haven't had the motivation to buy 10v trannies etc.

I just looked at the 'bay and there are a lot of 6C6 tubes for sale for not too much money, so i think I will give them a try. So far the 310a is my favorite, with the 328a close behind.
From my reading, the 6C6 is a meatier tube; the 310A a little more detailed and airier. I've not compared though, so take with a grain of salt.
I have a few pairs of 6C6... another couple and I will be done for life.

I have noticed the "airy" aspect of the 310a when comparing it to the 328A. It is a very nice sound. I am hoping to score some 6c6 and ef37 units before too long. Looking forward to hearing them too.
