What is your suggested cathode resistor value for 417A /5842? 92 ohm, 80 ohm or 91 ohm?

Uh, do you have an operating point in mind?
There's absolutely no way to answer this question without more information.
Hello!
B+ is 150v and load impedance (primary of line OPT) is 2.5K:600 ohm.
Thanks!
Assuming 150vdc at the plate, a 62ohm cathode resistor would cause 22.5ma of plate current.
Increasing the value of the cathode resistor would lower the plate current.
How much plate current are you shooting for?

My last build with 5842s driving the primaries of LL1692s, I ended up with a 80 ohm cathode to ground. Like everything else, many variables lead you to your desired value.... I'm putting around 20 Ma through the primaries which are gapped for 25 mA.
