I spend thousands of dollars every year to buy quality products that aren't made in China. Sometimes there's no choice, but I buy Chinese-made parts only when I've exhausted all other options.

...I find it increasingly difficult to avoid Chinese parts. I think the last batch of Panasonic caps I purchased from a reputable supplier were made in China. I was mildly surprised but the quality seemed unchanged from previous Japanese mfg. of same caps. In everyday life such as small appliances, clothing, shoes etc, Chinese mfg essentially unavoidable.

That's the truth..I try my absolute best to by domestic made products but even when you do,so much of it is Chinese in parts content. The one consolation is the fact their parts are decent quality when you get the better stuff and it's much more American like as far as fitting and style like than the Japanese.I would imagine a lot of this comes from so many American companies building so much industry there.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
