Sounds like you are measuring in the right place.
If your tubes are pulling different current and you don't have a particularly "stiff" PS, the PS voltage can dip a good bit depending on the current. Not necessarily bad, though the stiffer the PS the better.

Try it now. Had some trouble getting it to post. Still not a large image, but maybe it will work?
