I have a pair of these in a Jolida JD102B I just picked up, one of them is dented (how, I don't know, these are mounted under the chassis!) and so I am thinking about replacing them, although the amp seems to work just fine. Any suggestions on replacements? I have heard that Chemi-con caps are among the best 'lytics to use, outside of BGs and Cerefines... thanks

Are Cerafines still in production, or is what's for sale just the remaining stock? I used a few of their 500V caps years ago, but those seem to be long gone.
I have a small stash of NOS ones, but I fear they are deteriorating on the shelf. They need to be put into use.
Don't know what voltage rating you need, but Nichicons are also excellent. So, you have many choices, but I would agree with others that you should stick to reputable sources, such as Mouser and Digikey, or Newark, Allied, etc.
thanks, guys, Mouser is who I generally deal with, and they have the caps..
Chemi-cons are fine, as well as Panasonic caps. The Panasonics are easy to find in Mouser or Digi-Key.
Watch out for counterfeits. Buying from legitimate retailers like Mouser and Digikey (as Hornblower suggested) is the only way to be sure you're getting the real deal.

...Hornblower?? Well, I guess it is accurate, since I play alto and tenor sax.
So sorry, didn't mean to mangle your monicker! I played trumpet and baritone years ago, must've been thinking about that. Blame the meds. :)
