" This is a TL25 and I need a mate for it and notice how I was stuff the new poly right in the can once it blew the guts out the old can..I didn't have to hollow it out but you see waxy mess I'm cleaning up..I should get my Leak St 50 out to show you but you get the idea..The CDE and Unlytics or pansonics fit right into the existing can..I went from dual 16uf electrolytic to a pair of 35uf polys, one glued on the side and the difference will kick your arse. There is nothing with SS rect but I would use Schottkys..Anyway,put the polys in and you'll be floored.
Here you go..These are pulls out of brand new equipment but they are new..They will fit perfectly in your application.CDE and Unlytics are my favorites in that value.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.

Where can I buy a set of the Unlytic 35uf caps??? I could even get by with 400v but 500 is good. Thanks, Bobby
That link I posted. The CDE and Unlytics are identical and they are priced the same.I use both unlytic and they are identical spec, dimension, sound, and build..I tested them on my Sencore LC102 and they were identical specs as well..

fit under the chassis no problem too! Those little 20A Fishers have a lot of room underneath.
So, any replacements simply need to fit the holes in the chassis. I know that's not a lot of diameter increase over refilling the cans - 2-3mm max - but we can increase the height quite a lot, can't we?! :-)!
What dielectric do those Cornell Dubilier 35uf 500V caps have? I would like to go a bit higher in uf if possible. I can assure you that the bass in a classic valve amp - once given a high-storage PSU & WGAS about its impedance! - is very very good, tight, great SLAM, and still tubey up the ying-yang. Just not tubby or slow nor rich, either.
So can we go any higher than 35uf in this diameter but increase the height?
The diodes are already quiet or Soft Recovery types. I don't know when Schottkys came out but these went in in the late 1990s, and they are snubbed as well - as the review I linked to made clear.
You didn't address the query about the cathode bypass caps.
