If parallel tubes "smear" the sound, why don't PP tubes do the same?

Follow Ups:
Dave, push-pull is not in parallel, it is push pull. What smears more? I have no idea. I read many times parallel has a potential to slightly smear the sonics.
PP may not be parallel (although it could be) but I can see where Dave is coming from and one could mount an argument that since both tubes are conducting at all times in class A it's potentially similar.
I know there's the cancellation argument for PP and I don't want to go there anyway because personally, I think the whole smearing idea for parallel tubes is rubbish ... at least it is IME.

I prefer the term Sum (or "sum to zero") opposed to cancellation.

After pressing the post button I thought I shuda said "out of phase" but to be accurate I'd have had to qualify with "180 deg" and even that isn't 100% accurate without further definition ...

Personally, I love Push Pull Parallel. Like anything, the devil is in the implementation.
I built PPP triode connected 6V6. Sounded great.
