Yes I thought it would happen also. The Bored needs to decide how its going to handle these types of situations. I can see the site getting clogged with long, mindless debates over the relative values of items in Trader. That or Whiner's Woad will be a lot more active.

I am not whining.
I am pointing out the fact that you are asking $50 for something that should be in the junk box for $3. But then again, what do I know? If someone wants to pay for them, then all the better for you. People pay ridiculous prices for things all the time.
Just my opinion, and as this is a free country, I am allowed to express it.
Hope you sell them faster now that there is so much "press" going on about them.
that cassette tape has been in revival among hispters--who will revive anything apparently!--and maybe the seller knows that and doesn't want to throw something out which once held value for him. He did go through the trouble to erase them. And what if perhaps the price is too high? Doesn't an open discussion help stabilize value?
That his post had no place on the vinyl asylum. General, or perhaps Tape, but not Vinyl.
To paraphrase the song "Hot Rod Lincoln", the number of daily posts on the Vinyl Asylum make telephone poles look like a picket fence. I have no complants regarding the volume, as long as they're related to music, records or the equipment used to play them.
Otherwise, please put them where they belong, and don't offer lame excuses like "but it's still analog right?"
