I found this Sony TC-650 at a thrift shop. While I was looking at it some guy is standing behind me looking at, we start to talk and he say's he needs one for recording ,and I say I need it for transcription. So after a ninute or two of wondering if I should risk it and buy the thing (It's marked as is and there no cord to see if it even turns on) I decide what the heck. I take it up to the cashier to ask what the price is ,the first number is blured out,it could have been a one or a four or who knows.Well she takes a look at it and says forget it (the first number)and say's looks like $4.95 to me.I say OK sold . Nice Price.
You can get those weird little two pin plugs at either Parts Express (I haven't looked there in a while but they did a while back) or if they come up empty, at Vintage Electronics.
Thanks I'll check that out.
