I reviewed the Rubicon 8 for Stereophile in March 2015.

Has anyone done comparisons between the epicon 6 and rubicon 8-this is the comparison I am looking for and which would be better suited to an average room of 14x19x10. Thanks for all the replys and best in listening!
Before buying, make sure Dali is supporting the model. It was my understanding that some models did not have replacement drivers available .
A friend ended up passing the Dalis by because of said issues.

The Dali Rubicon series is quite recent and there is no issue on get any replacement afaik for older speakers.
.
i have not had that model, but happily owned a pair of helicon 800s for a few years. i think the dali sound is still the same. i would describe it best as full bodied and rich. the dual tweeter is incredible for the delicate highs. so you have this unusual combination of delicate airy highs with a richer lower midrange upper bass. i found it very attractive.
