Looks like you are a PSB guy. I remember hearing the Stratus Silver I somewhere close to 2000/2001 and was pretty impressed. They were being driven by Krell amps. Last year I heard the T3s being driven by NAD amps, but they did not have that kind of magic. I understand that the speakers and the amps were new. Maybe that was the reason they did not sound something special.
Do you plan to upgrade to the T3s?

You can't accurately make that comparison as your memory is for something almost 20 years ago. I'm betting you would be pleasantly surprised by the T3s if you compared them with the Status series side by side.

You are right about "audio memory". But I should say, it was a impressive demo that I remember even to this day. And I remember them playing the Tutti Orchestra CD in that system. Also Rebecca Pidgeon's The Raven.

the T3 seems excellent. bit too pricy for now
