The trusty Cambridge SoundWorks sat/sub computer speakers I've had in my home office for 20 years finally crapped out. I'd like to get something new of similar sound quality.
Unfortunately most of the stuff I see sold now-a-days appears to be designed more for novel appearance, dirt-cheap price, small size, and/or bluetooth. I don't need any of that. Plain boxes with wires that sound decent when I want to listen to music while I'm working is what I what.
Price range $100-200 or thereabouts.

i have a pair and have been continuously amazed at how they sound way better than they should be for the money. the specs surprisingly confirmed my suspicion that they went low and have good definition at the specified 30Hz (!) point. i even ran a freq sweep to verify the 30Hz.
they image sometimes, seemingly to beyond the speaker and almost over my shoulder. of COURSE the grills are off. they will play loud and still maintain their composure and are quite satisfying with the heft i did NOT expect.
i have the bass control ramped down to 12:35 on the clock or 7 'o clock if you consider only one hand on a clock. this is consistent with my need to ramp down the bass in my car speakers to minus 4 or 5 to make the bass sound right. i guess the person who voices these speakers feels the younger set (less than 35yo) want their bass to be thumpy. it's like that in the portable devices too.
enough of that ramble. you won't be sorry if you get the Klipsch 2.1s as i though given the sound of the original horn products. this isn't intended to offend lovers of the A7 sound, they have their place, of course.
i have not done much listening to the recent klipsch designs with the copper colored bass drivers so i can't speak about those.

The discontinued Klipsch iFi system has fantastic sound quality for a computer speaker system, if you can find one. The bass is also good and deep, at the expense of the 8-inch sub being too big to fit under some desks.
It has some reliability problems with the amp, though, so make sure you test it before buying. I had to buy a replacement plate amp from Klipsch, $120 shipped I think.
I think I know what you mean by the CSW sound quality. I love my Tivoli radio sound designed by the great late Henri Kloss. I am yet to hear an equivalent sound in those many small speakers. The class will not be there. The closest is Elac. The B4 is good but it is not very sensitive and you will need a powerful amp. Good luck.

not sub/sat but I'd probably go with these if I were in your shoes. They've got several sub/sat systems but they start at $300.

I have Klipsch Promedia 2.1. They've been around a long time, but are still a current product. Mine are approx. 15 years old. FWIW, I thought they sounded clearer and more balanced than the Cambridge Soundworks cube speakers back when I bought them. For the <$200 price, they sound pretty decent on music and can handle some game and movie LF effects at reasonable volume. However, if you only play music, you could buy some Pioneer BS22 speakers and a small amp and get better sound.
Why not simply buy a pair that has a brand name you recognize and fits within your budget. For example, check out the Klipsch computer speakers at the link below.
Nice speakers! I have the same ones. I would look at Audioengine and see what they may have; never heard them but they are well reputed.
Good luck on your quest!
Happy Listening!
