I picked up a pair of KEF 103.2's and have had the same reaction to them as you have to the SL6's. There are some great older speakers out here that don't cost a lot but for the dollar produce glorious sound....

The KEF 103.2's is what got me hooked on audio way back in the80's many many many $$$$$$ later. Still have a pr!
Drive the Heresy's right and they can have some pretty remarkable qualities. They are different, one is not better than the other, but properly set up Heresy speakers show some compelling "real music" qualities. So do the Celestions. But since each does some things that the other cannot I can't say one walks all over the other..
I respect the fact that you really like heresy"s, however, as fun as it was to play with them and mod them, as well as run them with set tubes, they, imo, do too much damage to the signal. This is totally my subjective opinion but to me, my option is all that matters.
Always wanted to play with these and the 104 series, too.
