I found some speakers in my Grndpas barn, *Infinity*, with the model *CS-3800*.
Not to familiar with these. Hooked them up and got some sound from the speakers, but not quite sure how to activate all of them.
Looks like there is a Sub-Woofer in the cabinets.
Do i have a capable Receiver to get the sound out of them right????
I can not find any information about these speakers over the internet.....
Anyone with an idea about these speakers???

CS 3008.
This model was in the Crescendo line-up from the early 1990's.
A very fine speaker from infinity before the quality took a dive.
I would say you can get some cash for them if what you want is to sell them. Maybe $100 if the cabinets are in good shape. Repaired they are worth maybe 200 bucks.
Check the model number again. Are you sure it is not the CS-3008? The Orion Audio Blue Book does not list a CS-3800.
Yes, you are correct. CS-3008.

The CS-3008 where made in 1993, has a 10" woofer, 5" & 6.5" midrange speakers and a 1" tweeter. They originally sold retail for $1600.00 a pair. Your receiver should work fine to drive them. I would pull off the grills and check the surrounds of the woofer for condition. If they are rotted away, they need to be replaced.
Yea the foam around the cone is starting to peal. Okay, they sound like good Stereo. So these are about 10 years old, are they still something people are looking for?
They are 23 years old, made in 1993. Get new surrounds for the woofers and use them, they are worth it.
