The guy is asking $250 and has already made it clear that he will be unwilling to budge. From what i have read, that seems a little high.
A different sound may be a good thing as the Klipsch seem a little bright at higher volumes depending on the genre.
My concerns with the Polks would be a lack of imaging and power hunger neither of which are an issue with the Klipsch.
Follow Ups:
Third on the price being too high. I regularly find these at thrifts for $20 needing $30 bucks of refoaming. Even considering a recaped pair, $150 is more like it. If they are mint originals Then even less because the corssover caps are likely gone or about to be gone.
They will image fine. Is it an older set with Peerless tweeters or newer with Polk branded tweeters? 250 is too much even if wood not vinyl veneer and mint. Most were vinyl veneer.

Yeah, $250 is way too much for what they are. They might image
better placing them on their sides so the drivers are vertical.
I think I'd rather listen to KLH 6's, 17's or Advents.
