...this is the impedance graph for my Thiel 7.2s which sound best with tubes.
Since they have a low sensitivity, they need over 100w/ch.
I use Manley NeoClassic 250s with great results.
With these they have great bass and sound very balanced and musical.
Follow Ups:
With a tube amp, frequency response follows the impedance curve. Therefore, bass will be very good with your Thiel 7.2 because the impedance curve rises below 100-Hz. From 100-Hz to 50-kHz, the impedance curve is pretty flat so frequency response will also be pretty flat. Thiel speakers generally sound very good with tube amplifiers.
This is not the case with the Legacy impedance curve, which falls significantly below 1000-Hz and rises significantly above 1000-Hz. Therefore, the Legacy speaker will have weak bass and bright highs using a tube amplifier. My guess is it will sound pretty bad. Of course, that's just my inexperienced guess. I've never owned a tube amplifier.

are what I own. Driven by a DeHavilland Ultra Verve pre. No weak bass at all. Bass attenuation typically used for over mixed source material. Treble can get a little edgey at times I usually attenuate. Mid-Range on these to die for. Keepers for sure. Thinking on sending them back to Legacy tho for the XD upgrade and room processor addition.
There are other factors like driver efficiency and how many used and crossover design. The Focus has plenty of bass with its two 12" and is efficient at 94.5dB They leaned a little warm to my ear.
