Interesting, I've never read anywhere a description that Dynaudio is smooth and easy going. I've read terms like detailed, excellent bass, great imaging, neutral. I must disclose I never heard them.
I just recently went from Revel F52 to Wilson Watt 8's and love them. I consider them smooth and easygoing, they disappear and have a nice balance. They also are efficient. I like the size of the Wilsons too
You are right about revel being very revealing, but they had Bass Slam in spades. I like the size of the Wilsons too.
In a few years, when I'm ready for a change. I think the Kef Blades might be next.

Yes I read the same thing about Dynaudios. I've had a lot of pairs of them. I own the C4, T 2.5 and the Xeo 3 at the moment and they are all on easy going side of things compared to a speaker like Revel. Sounds like Wilson may be smoother but it's a stretch to compare Watt 8 to F52. I like the size of the Wilsons too. The C4s are pretty good at off axis listening which is what I do a lot of so I would hope the Wilsons would be their equal in that regard as I don't care for speakers that really only sound good from the sweet spot.
Where are you located?
At this level of performance, you must get an audition of the Wilson speakers.
I've heard them quite a few times before and many many speakers I've heard and I have to say it doesn't mean much to me until I get them home and spend some time with them hooked up to my own gear in my own rooms.
