I heard a couple of car systems with Dynaudio using Audison amps & one of those processors. I literally could not believe what I was hearing, the sound was so good and the sound stage was in front of me despite where the speakers were located, it was incredible. Sound that good could be distracting while trying to drive, LOL. The Dynamat is a worth while addition no matter the level of gear in the auto.
If that's the same type of processor you were talking about they are a game changer to car audio.
Follow Ups:
Processors make a huge difference. I also owned a JBL MS-8 before my current Arc Audio PS8, and it too made a night and day difference in terms of imaging and sub integration. Dynamat is a must...
Best car speakers I ever had were the Dahlquists - forget the model number, but were small black boxes, 3-way, and really wonderful.
