Ya,I heard they are coming out with a new model on Wednesday that supersedes the Debut B6 and it's suppose to be way better than the current B6.........just kidding Henry.....
Opus 33 1/3
After a few weeks with my B5s difficult to believe what you can get for the buck. These are right up there with my old Celestions SL600s and Spendor LS3/5. Tried a variety of tube/tube preamp/solid state power and decided that my workhorse Muse 160 SS with my MFA octal pre to be the key for me. Pushing the volume up to realistic levels and these tiny boxes begin to disappear--uncanny. Tonalities of instruments and voice was superb. Large soundstage with speakers 42 inches high and angled down and toe'd in. So easy to physically position these mighty mites. Can't wait for the upgrades.
What upgrade?
Bill
Sorry, just conjecture at this point. But given Andrew Jones' history with Pioneer/TAD I am hoping he gets into horn systems with the ELAC model of return for the dollar. Can't help but drool to imagine a 90% TAD high end for a thousand or two. Don't you agree.
90% TAD at a tad over thousand! We will push AJ for that.
Regards
Bill
