Basically the Sigma's were a 250 lbs beefed up version of the 190 lbs SC-IV/A's. If I remember correctly, the cabinet walls were twice as thick and the crossovers were revised for about a $2,000 premium. Even though the bass was noticeably cleaner than the SC-IV/A's, the SC-V's still gave a better overall presence that was immediately obvious on side by side comparisons.
I too have never known anyone else that owned the Sigma's and have never seen them for sale or online anywhere.
As for posting about the Magnus, I've spent many hours scanning my own paper literature/flyers/handouts on all things Dunlavy and posting them on that AVSforum site for all to read/enjoy. It was satisfying to do at the time, but I stopped just past the halfway mark and could never really get back in the mood again to continue.

Thanks for all the help.
I had to ask, which speakers are you using today?
Unfortunately, I've had to sell off all my larger models due to financial hardship, but I still have (none of which have seen a musical signal in well over 3 years!) a pair of SC-III.a speakers in cherry, a pair of WL-1's (wall-hanging with components identical to the SM-1's/SC-II.a's) in oak, three SM-1's monitors (two cherry, one black), a couple of black SC-S2 (dual-12") powered subs and a single black SC-S1 (single 12") powered sub.
I also have a pair of (brand new, in their boxes, never even had the drivers installed) factory pre-wired (with Dunlavy cabling), oak SC-IV/A cabinets in my garage as well as brand new woofer, midrange and tweeter drivers in their own original boxes! Unfortunately, I've never put them together because I don't have the crossovers!!! Maybe one day...
Remember that guy Andrew Rigby that worked for Dunlavy. Maybe he would know how to implement the crossovers if you ever try to do this.
Have you spoken to him in the last 10 years?
Also, do you remember Dunlavy had that passive sub consisting of four 10 inch drivers housed in an SC-IV cabinet. I don't think many of these were produced.
I wonder how that sub would have sounded on the Dunlavy 1V or Dunlavy 1VA speakers.
