Also consider this one from Madisound.A fantastic speaker. I've been using it for about two years and I can't imagine there can be much of an upgrading after having this one.

PS: I looked over that crossover - crap that's a lotta parts. When ever I see a crossover with that many parts I immediately thing - somethings wrong? I've built a few designs over the years. IMHO once you start getting into exotic numbers of parts and high order crossovers - the end sound does suffer. Again - just my opinion and experience.

Measuring equipment is great, but it sometimes makes the situation correct for one thing, while the whole thing is lesser.
You are right, basically the wrong drivers were selected for the target response and requires a xover too complex and not worth the effort.
If you have to squeeze that many parts into a crossover, you CLEARLY are trying to match the wrong drivers.
The designer forgot the most basic component of a good speaker design - synergy.
Put things together that like being together. Not forcing them to work REGARDLESS what you have to do to make them work.
Just been there and it never did work out well.
