Mine moved to France. This is not a bad thing. With modern telecommunications we can talk to her like she's next door, and we get to vacation in the South of France for free for the rest of our lives.

...but the Iphone keeps me in much better touch between texts and Facetime than I ever would otherwise. I'm not a "pick up the phone and dial" kinda guy for some reason.
One of my children is 300 miles away and one of them is 2,500 miles away. I still feel connected on a very regular basis.

My three kids are 20k miles away but the five grandchildren keep me busy thru MagicJack, Skype and Facetime. But I get to hug them only every two years which is a pity. Wish they were only 200 miles away.

LOL....my oldest Daughter is living in Denmark.
She is engaged to a Hungarian-born college instructor, so we have have a European wedding to fly to.
