Hello all!
I know there are some of you who can enlighten me.
I have seen these speakers on the 'bay with what appears to be 3 different types of tweeters.
A black basket with grill, a gold/silver tone with grill and finally what appears to be a clear domed tweeter.
Can someone shed light on which are correct and came first. Or point me in the direction of a website with the history and lineage.

These are nice sounding speakers. There are a few folks in the vintage asylum who may know more about the tweeters- I think they were used in a couple models in the KLH line.

This is the style they had in the early 70's when we sold them.

I had model 17's , they were originally purchased by my father in 69 and i started using them in 74 -75, they had a gold tone dual ring tweeter with cone , no dome...
