The Canadian dollar has seen a steady decline the past 2 years against the US dollar from around $1.02 to about $.78.
Has anyone noticed a difference (prices dropping) at the retail level with brands such as Martin Logan, Paradigm, Sim Audio, Axiom, PSB, Bryston and others?
I'm curious and would welcome dealer input.

And sadly, most of these companies are in cahoots w/ china.
Your point is what exactly?
I agree but so are most companies in every country today. I can not imagine Paul Klipsch's reaction if we're to awaken today to find his name is associated with Chinese speakers.

it's a damn shame.
Mr. Levy;
No truer words have ever been written.
Paul W. Klipsch would be mortified to find that out, and I'm sure there would be some wholesale changes after he showed them his fabled yellow button.

Since when is Martin Logan a Canadian company? I thought they were located in Kansas,USA!
I also remember them being made in Kansas, say 10 years ago or so. Maybe they were sold to a Canadian firm some time ago.
Well;
I guess I'm not sure if Shore View is a Canadian company or not.
I am sure that Martin Logan's good stuff is made in Canada.

They're made in Canada, but priced in US dollars. Even the Canadian audio companies such as Simaudio, Classe, Tenor, Verity Audio and Bryston just to name a few, are priced in US dollars as well to compete with the US markets.The only savings that you ever going to get from Canadian made component is, if you buy them used on line at Canadian audio classified sites. But then, there's the shipping cost to worry about...

Most of these great Canadian products are made in China. Classe and PSB are included. Sad but true!

Winnipeg is just up the street a bit....Eh.
