Why a receiver? Raise the bar a little........

Help a brother out, Oz.
I was going to ask if this would be acceptable: NAD T 758, but I am interested in your views.
Thanks for the help!
I have a NAD 765 running 4 ohm Thiel speakers in my HT. NAD receivers are better than average for music listening if you need to stay with a receiver. The NAD 758 also has all the audio preamp outputs should you ever wish to buy a separate multi-channel amp as the first step to separates. I second the vote for Emotiva gear as a great budget way to get into separates.
I was thinking something like this.

Oz and E-stat, I am not opposed to separate amp and processor, but I am a newb in that area. Also, I am already pushing my wife on this one, so cost is an issue.
I forgot to mention these are 4 ohm.
which is now in the bedroom system, but the separates were no more expensive and better.
What you suggest, however, would work. NAD works fine with 4 ohm loads.
