And I see they have a 20 year warranty - impressive if the company manages to stay in business that long. I have no reason to expect they won't, I'm jes' sayin'....

Yep....a friend and I heard the M1's at RMAF this past year. I bought the M2's and he bought the M1's. We both thought they ( M1's ) were one of the best values at the show. I was looking for a speaker that was both efficient, reasonably priced and tube friendly. Plus I always wanted to give an open baffle design a shot. They ( both the M1 and M2 ) checked all the right boxes. I use an ACI Titan sub with the M2 in my HT/casusal set-up. He feels a sub isn't necessary with the M1. In his opinion, it has no trouble reaching into the mid 30's. Well voiced, well constructed and built in Utah.
"...32Hz - 20kHz +/- 3dB"
Seems hard to believe 32Hz at -3db from an open-baffle that small.
Dunno - the driver looks pretty big, and if it is set up in the right room, the right way, it might just get to the low 30's.
But I recall the Gradient Helsinki's didn't go much lower than 45Hz typically, though with just the right amount of room gain ...
