I have the new Aria 926 that replaced some 726s
I also run the 1028 in my main system
I have the older 900 series for my HT setup.Prior to Focal, I have owned a variety of B&Ws Mission, Wharfedales etc.
I find the Focals to be extremely musical. The models with the Berylium tweeters really are sweet and detailed.
None of them are bass monsters and a good sub would help if thats what you need. If I were you I would look at Focal bookshelf speakers and compare them with something like Sonus Fabers (of the same price). Sonus Fabers are more relaxed. Focals may bite a little more, but to me they seem to reveal the recording and aren't really brittle at all. i found B&W speakers more fatiguing but when I had them my front end was different. But to my ears Sonus were too laid back. Hope that helps.

Very cool navman-
how do the newer model(s) compare to the older 900 series?
I really liked the 918 & 928!
The newer model seems more detailed. However I havent really tested the older model with music. But on movies, its really good.

I would be interested in reading your impressions on the comparison, with music.
