I know, but why is there not a time and phase aligned soft dome design was what I was apparently ineptly asking.

lots of good reports on Ryan speakers. Plain looking, simple rectangular cabs, with soft dome tweeters. Have a pair of their 2 1/2 way floor standers. Very impressive.
Got a chance to hop on the computer, those do look like pretty nice speakers.

These are the speakers awaiting a woofer rebuild. I bought the Vandersteens to tide me over. Not much out there when I bought them. The guy selling them had some KEF 105.2's which I fell in lust with. I'd love to replace the woofer with some Seas 1801's, or some such, but that would likely take 4 per channel or something, and FAR more wood work and crossover work than I want to get into, so if the bass is less than perfect I guess I'all have to live with it! Anyway, I may end up with 3 good speakers, I'm figuring out more concerning my brightness issues.
Best Regards,
Lou
