Would like to know if Tekton speaker owners are still enjoying them, especially the Lore-s and other Lores. thanks for any info!
Follow Ups:
I highly recommend the M-Lores for any amp in a small to medium size room (14x12). These speakers let me hear everything upstream from my system. Also, compared to my previous Quad 21Ls, they are easier to listen to and have deeper bass. Also, the front port allows for the speaker to go back against the wall if you really are limited in space. The position of the drivers in the cabinet allow me to hear the music at low levels yet further back (almost like the projection of a monitor but with better bass). The feel of the cabinet is very nice (not cheap in any way). Eric A. was never pushy, answered all my questions, and then took my order. I think the Tekton M-Lores rock!
I had chance to hear I believe Lore on Axpona, and for me the sound was bad. There are speakers that I love, those that I do not love but I find them good, those that I am not excited about but could live with, and those that I would not want in my home. Lores belong to the last group. Let's put it this way, I would rather have Bose than them in my home.
I understand that others may have different opinion as we all look (listen) listen for different things. That is why YOU have to hear them and decide for yourself.
I did not listen their other models.

The owner ruined me on Tekton. I can't believe how he can talk to customers and it isn't just me.
I tried some M-Lores and they arrived skinned up due to damage. I played them for about 72 hours and could not warm up to the idea they would sound significantly better. I panicked and sent them back. There are a lot of stories like mine depending on where you go on the net.
I had M-Lores for about a year. Nicely voiced and a good value. I currently have friend who's quite pleased with his Lore's. Also had a very fussy friend who had the Lore-S.... which he thought handily beat his SMG's. So from my point of view, they have an excellent track record on this end. The big plus is that they are efficient and absolutely sing with tubes.
a friend had a pair of lore-s i believe and they sounded like they were broken. in your face and mechanical sounding.
he tried to sell them but had zero interest for about 5 mths then eventually found a sucker to take them at a big discount.
audio_d,
It would be nice if you listed your equipment in the Inmate Systems forum so I could get some kind of an idea of what you're listening to. That might help me (and other Inmates) to understand how you based your comments.
Cheers,
Al
I had a brief stint with the Pendragons and thought they were really good speakers. They play big and really pressurize the room. Not the last word in imaging and inner detail, but not bad here either. Great value for the $$.

In my opinion...
I am underwhelmed by the Triton line. I'm sure you can find much better at Walmart in the aisle next to the floor cleaner.
I'd state my actual opinion, but this is a family-oriented site.
BPoletti did you mean Tekton or Triton speakers?
.
I think you just had one too many :-)
Read the OP's post carefully.
Then read your reply. Again!

I've had my Lores for 4 years. I'm using them with a fully restored Scott LK-72b amp (25-30watts) in a 22' x 14' room and couldn't be happier. I think it's a match made in heaven.
Another M-Lore lover hear. The sound wonder full with my 6 watt per channel SE tube amp....
+1 here.
I was going to buy the Lores, but because of my small room Eric suggested that I might be better off with the M-Lores. I took his advice and I'm glad that I did!
I've owned my M-Lores for over two years and I'm still very satisfied with them. I would buy them over again without any doubts.
Cheers,
Al
