The C7ES-3 should provide extended frequency response while "the seamless integration of the drive units across a wider horizontal and vertical arc" makes the C7ES-3 "far less critical of stand height than many speakers of this size".
It sounds as if you might retain the Harbeth *house sound*, gain a bit more in the way placement flexibility and macro-dynamics, and lose a bit of the transparency that smaller mini-monitors are known for. Is this the type of upgrade you are looking for?

Hi, yes that would fit the bill. I really like the P3's and the 7's came along at a great price. The only thing I am worried about is that it is a ported speaker and I always had sealed monitors. But like anything else I will have to hear them in my room and see if they will work. Thanks for your input,I will be getting them at the end of this week.
Yes, I would think it would be nice to try something different.
The mids and the highs of the 7s should sound familiar enough and that's probably a good thing. You'll be gaining dynamic capability and perhaps a touch more "warmth" in the lower mids and bass, I'd imagine. Good luck, and please let us know how things go.
Thanks much,will do!
