Thanks for the compliment. I didn't have any problems with the grill, so which problem are you referring?
Cheers,
Paul
Follow Ups:
The Dealer where I auditioned the R500 insisted on removing the grills which he said interfered with the sound he showed me the back of the grill which had too wide plastic support extrusions. I note you use the speakers sans grill, I much prefer the look of the speakers with the grills in place.

Hi Disbeliever - During my audition period (2 1/2 months) I listened almost always with the grill off. I did listen for about three or four days with the grill on for comparison. On most music, I didn't think with the grill on made much difference, if at all. On a few tunes, I heard a slight veiling with vocals, but hardly noticeable unless I listened critically. I decided to review with the grill off for aesthetic reasons-I like the modern look of the drivers-which is opposite of what you prefer. When I review speakers I normally state the effects of the grill on and off the speaker, but I forgot this time. Paul
