I use AudioQuest PCs on my 5As because one of the stock PCs that came with the speakers had a defective (i.e., shorted) contact that played havoc with insertion and removal of the PC ultimately requiring return of the on-board LF amp to Vandersteen for repair/replacement. The female socket on the AQ PC will fit into the tight space between the heat fins on the 5As.Also, the 3 meter AQ PCs I use allow speaker placement well away from the wall outlet dedicated to the speakers. They are flexible, easy to route and do not call attention to themselves.
(When I lived in the Nashville, TN area, I removed and inserted the PCs often due to violent thunderstorm activity that occurred regularly during the spring through fall.)

Was there a dedication ceremony?
Thanks for the info!
Which of the Audioquest PC cords are you using?
Tom
I'm using a discontinued model that has the same terminations as the current 4 and 10 models.
