So what does the ohms measure at the diaphram leads?..if open
it's shot. Might just be an unseen coil break...VERY small
gauge wire used, doesn't take much to break 'em.The replacement diaphram should be available from B&W. I
could get one for you if you need.

Unfortunately I dont have a multimeter..Only test I can think of which I can perform is to swap the tweeters.
I suppose I posted this a bit prematurely!
Thanks for the suggestion though.. Maybe I can scrounge one up.
Whats your price on the diaphragm? I saw $57 online I believe.

Yeah...really no excuse anymore not to have a meter, thay are
soooo cheap these days. You also can put the speaker input wire
directly on the tweeter (the diaphram needs to be installed on the magnet) and very LOW volume, bass all the way off, treble boosted,
and only takes a few seconds....you'll know if it's working. It
WON'T damage anything.
Yep, no sound when using the speaker cables.
Looks like I need a new diaphragm.
Got a quote? Do we need to do that outside of AA?
I'll call the BW guy on Monday, using the model you gave. If
there are any numbers on the tweeter itself, let me know. If unavail.,
might be a good used one on e-bay. You have to keep checking though.

Yeah, too many things to buy these days ;-)
Thats a great suggestion about trying the speaker cables. I will try that.
