I've heard them at the Audio Room on a few occasions and I was extremely impressed with them. Apparently they have them really working well now after a speaker cable change and they say I'm in for quite a surprise when I go back for another listen. BTW, believe it or not, they are using a US$600 integrated chineese tube amp with them. Thats what I heard them with and they are still using the same amp. One thing that struck me about these speakers is the holographic imaging. I mean, it was WAY more holographic than I've heard from many other high end speakers in that price range. I don't see that Art Dudley would be impressed with that ;-) The other thing that struck me is they are not the most attractive speakers. I don't know about them being the steal of a lifetime, as you put it. Maybe excellant value for money.
