I have a beautiful set of Infinity Beta 50 towers that I will most likely be selling. I do not have the original boxes and I want them to arrive as perfect as they are now if I decide to sell. Since they are heavy I know shipping isn't recommended but may be necessary.
Does anyone have any suggestions for packing? I was thinking about those hard cardboard corner pieces around all 4 sides and corners but any other suggestions to keeping them safe, especially the grills??
What kind of box do I use? Do I tray to make one?
Thanks

you don't want expose any flaws in your prototype.
You could contact Infinity about purchasing new boxes and packing
materials for your speakers.
RioTubes suggestion is solid too.
Buyer pick-up is a good idea as well.

... to throw out original shipping cartons. You will always wish you had kept them when it comes time to ship or make shipping damage claims. You can also expect better resale values if you have the original boxes.

If you have a boxbrothers near you, take it there and have them pack it for you. Whatever you do, double box and have foam cut to fit on all six sides. If they pack it, they will bear the risk.
Thanks for all the great comments! This site has been a wealth of knowledge.
Please keep the awesome suggestions coming. I'm taking good notes.
One of the best packing materials I have found is ... bed pillows!
On all sides.
