Just because someone dismisses you and disagrees with you does not make them a " insert cliche label here". What I posted on here was an alternative to what you suggested is all. Your initial post read like HE MUST DO AS YOU SAY, like it was his only option, like he was suddenly Princess Lea and you ObiWan Kenobi in Star Wars: A New Hope. Perhaps you did not mean your post to come across that way, but being a internet message board, all I have to work with on here is how something reads.lol
That being said, I never said whatever speakers you suggested should not be tried, for all I know he'd love them which would be awesome, or not, which is fine too, what sounds good is totally subjective, hence my offering yet another option and for him to try as many options as possible rather than assume he has only one single way to solve his problem. That's not trolling, nor was my dismissing what read like marketing bullshit, I always dismiss marketing bullshit, and the well done marketing bullshit I laugh at. Just like I laughed at some of your weakly constructed straw man arguments. It's really not that big of a deal and I don't see how our digressing really helps the OP who made the thread either. lol If you want to see some good trolling though, make another thread and we can debate or whatever there, otherwise let's cut out the nonsense, yes including my own lol so the thread can live up to it's intention, maybe some other people have suggestions to, on topic ones they'd like to share as well. lol

Also from what I've read he's right about the Maggies, though I've never heard them for myself, they are notorious for being very "room centric" so to speak. When set up properly/room treatments they are supposed to be great though if you have the room. It would seem tricky to integrate a sub properly to them though to keep the sound continuity with planar and a cone woofer.
You can also get some excellent headphones and headphone amps, even planar headphones from HiFiMan or Audez if you're on a mission to go planar and don't have the proper room for them.
Ha Ha...Charade You Are.....
"Ha Ha...Charade You Are..... "
Hey, that'd be a great line in a song.
