Hello, please help. I bought these speakers at a antique store for $60 but cannot find any information about them. Thanks.

I am impressed by the D'Appolito configuration.
These may be sold from the back of a White van.
Thanks everybody, Matt nailed them. I was hoping for more than junk.
Found a thread with a picture, white van rip-off. Still think they sound ok, or it could be just my hurt pride.
It sounded decent 'before' ye knew right?!
I buy stuff at the thrift store all the time. Not only can you find great used electronics, I get most of my T shirts there for work (I wear hosp scrubs).
Not to mention many thrift stores support community causes such as help for the underpriviledged and vocational skills training.
And on the other side of the coin I've donated literally 'tons' of stuff to my favorite site; the AmVet (American Veterans) thrift store in my town.

Thanks and they did sound better.
If the cabinets are as hefty as you say, you still got a good deal. Down the road, you might look for a DIY kit or project that will fit those boxes. With some good drivers and an optimized crossover, you could make something quite decent out of them.
They are quite heavy (about 17 lb) , very solid construction but no markings on the enclosure. On the rim of each woofer (6 inches) there is a number (XY166). The bottom woofer is made out of different material than the top one. Thanks for trying. I have them hooked up to a Luxman R- 3055 and Dual 721. They sound great. Very efficient.

NO GRITS NO GLORY
Thanks everybody, I have new speakers arriving in a couple of days ( Pioneer HPM-500 NOS ).
How heavy are they? Well made? Any name, numbers or markings on the driver magnets or frames? If you look at the below website, London Audio Speakers is a known "White van speaker scam" brand. So it's possible, but the website does not show any pictures or logo.
If you like the speakers, 60 bucks is not a big deal. If they are white van speakers, they usually try to get 2-300 bucks out of you, claiming they are 1000$ plus speakers.
just an informed guess...
good luck,

"You know why is that?"
Looking at the name plate the first thing that came to mind was London Audio, there being the British flag and the L A script.
Searched but found nothing.
There should be a name on the backside, otherwise they could be somebodies home construction. But there seems to be some kind of symbol on the front grill cloth. The symbol is unfamiliar so it could still be a construction from a very small and unfamiliar enterprise. However, one things for sure, they ain't antique.
Thanks, but no information on the back, just a gold-plated four-post connection. I was hoping that somebody has seen them before. The tweeter does say Titanium Super Bullet Tweeter.
