I don't know the ERA but the Usher is excellent. I first heard three years ago and have been impressed each time since that I have heard them.

Either the L series or the L2. Both are real wood and very nice.

The Quad's are lots of bang for the buck.
They are one level below a Spendor, Harbeth, PMC, etc. But a LOT cheaper.
Energy RC-10s.. the cherry veneer is really nice. The black ash not so much. Tweeters are nice, bass can be a little boomy. YMMV, but I liked mine with NAD, McCormack and Primaluna PL2.
AV123.com has its ELT525s for $299. The cherry veneered ones are on sale for even less $175. These are great sounding speakers too.
