What do you guys think? I'm in a small room, only 6.5 feet from speakers, listening position is against the back wall. Room is only 9 or 10 feet wide approx. I currently have big bi polar Mirage M5si's and while I like them, they are just too big for my small space. Looking for a monitor speaker that does well on hard classic rock, blues and jazz. Associated gear would be:
Aragon 8008bb power amp
Musical Fidelity a3cr pre
Marantz Sa-14 TRL modded cd player
PS Audio P-300 power plant
The Totems will be cheaper by a few hundred a I'm looking used and seller is in my area. I would really appreciate any input.
Follow Ups:
I once owned a pair of the Linbrook monitors and can assure you that they work well on all types of music - with their dual woofers, they should also energize your room a bit more than the smaller Totems. The millenium tweeter needs at least 150 hours of break-in, but it's worth the wait!

DKL, thanks for that input. I'm kind of leaning that way even though the expense is greater.
You're welcome - and if you do go with the Tyler's, I'd recommend going with a tubed preamp - that tweeter is very special, and it wasn't until I switched to a hybrid integrated amp (BAT 300xSE with tubed preamp section) that it showed its true abilities.
