Apparently I got the 805 Signature and the 805s mixed up as well. The signature is what I was thinking of so if the 805s is about the same sounding as the n805 or the S805 then it is probably a coin flip with the S2.
Buy whichever is prettiest as they all get a revamp in the marketing every few years.

I've never heard a B&W i've liked until i heard the newish 805S. They switched to 1st-order crossovers, and the tweeter isn't hot anymore. I was pretty shocked. Easily beat the Dyn Focuses in the same room (and i've owned dyns in the past). I'm very interesting in perhaps trying 804S for awhile as a result of my auditions.
I used to dismiss B&W frequently, but i must admit i have to take them seriously now---my buddy has the 800D and he says it beats Maxx2 and other high echelon makes. He's owned practically everything, so that says something.
