I agree with Hyperion. The concerto series is one level down from the signums, amators etc, especially in the midrange. the concerto series is relatively in your face without the benefit of revealing layers and layers of detail...

as for the GP having more bass, well, i agree but there appears to be a bit too much midbass from the GP which may prove to be problematic in some rooms. (i'm comparing the GP to similar speakers like the Joseph Audios 22/25 and Proac Response 1.5 which have fast, tight bass.

IMHO, the GP is NOT a bad speaker, but seems overpriced in the US, $3k+? Its us$2k elsewhere...
