This person e-mailed me 5 times saying she accepted my offer to by my Brinkmann table at my asking price. Here's her e-mail:
"thanks for your swift reply im ok with your asking price and the present condition as you mention on the site simply get back to me with your full details so that i can issue the payment and make it send to you after you 100% confirm the money in your bank that the cheque is cleared then i will arrange for collection ok simply leave me your full name and full address"
After the 4th e-mail when I told her I would only accept a Bank Wire Transfer her responses went dead! Do these people think we are stupid!

Classic scam email. All that's missing is her shipper will pick it up.

It is interesting to me that these scammers have not figured out how quickly their lack of correct grammar tips them off, there is a classic "computer translated" feel to all their angles, whether it be audio gear, or, as I recently experienced, someone trying to arrange to rent a room in my mothers house via craigslist (that one came with a picture of a beautiful very wholesome looking girl!)
they were working up to the money scam angle, but yet, the grammar slips were right there. When I insisted to speak on the phone to them, they disappeared.

"....then i will arrange for collection ...." So nothing was missed in this classic scam!
