This is not about cable, other than cables happened to be the object involved in an allegedly shady deal. That is not what Cable Asylum is for. That is what Shady Lane is for. This post, at best, belongs in Shady Lane, but I'd rather see it deleted at this point or moved to Whiner's Woad. You are doing a great disservice to the inmates by diverting attention away from actual cable-related comments and inquiries with your endless whining.
actually .....in this case its is about cables unless you were unable to read the post correctly ....
why would you want this information about these cables and the seller not aired ?
this is just the sort of information ...all be it anecdotal that should be posted !
I didn't say otherwise. I said that this is not the correct forum. This kind of post is exactly what Shady Lane is for. The OP has even acknowledged that. I am not trying to shut him up, or the seller for that matter.

I could be wrong but sounds to me like you want the post / thread removed, not really sure what your issue is though, since you and everyone else on planet earth has the ability to simply NOT READ and move right on by this to a post that does interest you.
i surmise you main objection is that it should have been started elsewhere "shady lane" but we cant all be up to snuff with every idiocyncracy of every forum, and the fact that you resort to personal attacks just astounds me !!!!!!!
Most of us are adult enough to police what we wish to read, and have the ability to simply move on to the next post. Although rudy apolagizes for posting in the wrong area i dont and i wish you and everyone like you would SHUT UP and move on your damb self.
when we need a babysitter we will post we are looking for one !!!!!!!

Now that this has been moved out of Cable Asylum, I'm willing to respond to your post.1. Sure I could just not read it. In fact, I read only a few of the posts. What irritated me was the fact that this train wreck of a thread ended up filling so much space that it was squeezing out truly cable-related posts. That was true whether one read any of this or not.
2. You are correct that I said I'd rather see it deleted. At that point, the endless back and forth had filled up so much space that it seemed excessive on any page. But OK, point taken.
3. No where did I personally attack anyone. I said "get the hell out of cable asylum" in connection with this particular post and then explained why. That is not a personal attack. I did not call anyone names or even take sides.
4. In the end, both the original poster and the moderators agreed that Shady Lane was the correct place for such an exchange.

my response to your response, where did you take it to a personal attack
when you insinuated the respondants are whiners. (i personally would take that as an attack) and an uncalled for statement
which is why i felt the need to come back at you in the same regard
